I traveled to Curtis in the eastern part of the Upper Peninsula from Saturday, 28 July to Sunday, 5 August. I heard more stations than ever. I also discovered some changes and solved some mysteries.

The tape loop at 40 Mile Point Light is up and running. There is guitar music in the background. The property has been nicely renovated. It still functions as a lighthouse. The tape loop can only be hear around the property and was not audible on US-23, about 500ft. from the parking lot. The freq is 107.3.
The marine relay of WIDG and the mystery tape loop in Mackinaw were not heard.
CMU Public Broadcasting has affiliates all over Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. WCMU 89.5 can often be heard in Metro Detroit.
